Formerly Citifare, RTC Ride is the public transit service for the greater Reno/Sparks community provided by the Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) of Washoe County, Nevada. |

With a fleet of 65
buses serving more 30 routes, Ride will take you where you need to be
in a very reasonable timeframe. The cost is just $2.00 per trip with discounts
for seniors, kids and the handicapped. They offer ticket books and bus
passes at reduced rates and the Summer Youth Pass is available for youths
from 6 to 18 years of age. This 10-ride pass allows kids the freedom to
get around town all summer long.
In addition to their regular routes, Citifare also provides special bus service to the Balloon Races and offers free rides from 9:00 pm to 1:00 am on New Years Eve. BETTER WAY TO GET AROUND RTC SIERRA SPIRIT will take you from the
University of Nevada, all around downtown, and back--FREE! These bright
yellow buses take you from the University to the Riverwalk District. RTC
SIERRA SPIRIT operates on every day of the year including all holidays.
