The Boyd properties in Vegas raised their fees on four properties. That being said when will CET and MLife raise there fees and will Reno be far behind. The saga continues. |

Hi VAPA -
Do you happen to know which of the four properties, and what the current resort fee rates are? I signed into my B Connected account a few weeks ago for the first time in ages and lo and behold, I've still got points at Sam's Town from at least 3 years ago! Harrah's has been sending me unreal free flight and stay offers to Vegas and Laughlin as I'm still holding Diamond status as an out-of-towner, and I was curious to see what the Boyd properties are currently charging.

Someone told me that Harrah's has made resort fees apply to Diamond status. If, that is true it will be interesting to see what MLife and the rest of the other casinos do. Will the resort fee(s) be more than the cost of the room in some cases yes. The saga continues ! |

Regarding resort fees some MGM properties are now $32.49 tax included. Now some CET properties are believe it or not $32.49 tax included. Stay tuned as they will probably go higher. |

I just tried to book a room for 4 nights in LV. I have a
Platinum card and was getting 3 nts free and the 4th as
a comp. Then when I went to book it, the total jumped
to $112.00. They were trying to charge me $25 per night
resort fee and $12 tax. and this was for a VP tourn. I was invited to.
Watch the small print! |

I recently stayed at a Station Casino for two free nights. They WAIVE the resort fee for comped nights. At least they did for me. |

I'm thinking Station Casinos are a little more flexible on resort fees than other properties. That being said when the resort fee(s) is about 60% or more of the cost of the room one needs to consider that. Get the total price of the room !! |

I just made Res. at Harrah's Reno and they said they are
charging 10$ a night Resort fee even for comped rooms.
I think the end is near?? I see my Platinum card vanishing
next year! |
