Siena. No Contest.
Next big royal I hit, I'm going to ask for one. |

I've seen on Cheapo Reno and heard from some friends how comfy the beds at the Siena are, but I am a cheap bastard and once I get caught in the web of Harrah's comps, I can't justify spending money when someone else is giving me something.
And yes, that no different from people that don't go to a steakhouse because they have a coupon for a free buffet.
G*ddamn comps ruining a good night sleep... |

Have stayed at all the downtown hotels, as well as Peppermill and Atlantis. Pepp has the best ones, followed by Atlantis. |

"Bed"="Not downstairs in casino."
My powers of observation are limited to this. "Am I horizontal? Yes. Time to sleep? Yes." |

Gotta second the Siena. First visit this past weekend and I can't believe how well I slept. Further, the pillows? Like butta. |

One complaint about Circus Circus - beds waaaaaaay to soft. Not great for bad backs! |

Showing your age there, Dave! Isn't that another one of those stereotypical old-man things??
I remember reading the instructions on a medicine bottle not long ago, and thinking, "Dang, this print is small - how can anyone be expected to read this....OH, NO! I've ARRIVED!!!" |

We've now slept in beds, two trips in a row, at Pepp Tuscany and Eldorado Luxury tower. Have to admit the E's beds are just as good, if not slightly better.
Tuscany still has better variety of pillows. |

My bed at Atlantis has 7 pillows...and a great view out the window of Downtown skyline (16th floor).
Trip report tomorrow on this visit. |

John may have bested me in Video Poker Last night...but I have the BIG win !
I need a new bed at home....AND I slept in the back of the van TWICE. Fairly comfy especially after large numbers of FREE? drinks.
But the beds (at least on the 12 floor near those sightseeing elevators are THE BEST.
And THIS time I can read the label. Just so I can look it up again:
Sealy Model 503693
Type ID: PA34
I wonder what THIS means? "This mattress is intended for use without a foundation"..... What looks like a box spring feels like solid plywood.
I'm going to try to buy one when I get home....unless I must first buy a hotel. |

Swiping all of their tiny shampoos is one thing...but not sure how I can sneak a mattress past the front desk. |
