I'm trying to think of the name of that great China
Restaurant on the next street over from Virginia st.
you could also get to it thru the upstairs from one of
the casinos that had the over crossing to the Flamingo
casino. Long time ago!! |

The Golden Palace or maybe Benihana? I used the "WayBack Machine" to do a little research ...

I remember walking that 2nd story walkway from the Flamingo's Virginia street casino and the restaurant you mentioned was at street level on Sierra St. They had a bunch of pictures of the Statue of Liberty being built in the long hallway that eventually led to the main Flamingo Hotel and Casino. If you went downstairs before you crossed sky-bridge over Sierra street you'd get to the restaurant. Right?
I always wanted to try that place, but usually cheaped out and ate at the Cal Neva. I ate at the Top of the Flamingo a couple of times though.
Here's a link to a 2011 google maps pic of where that restaurant used to be. The restaurant was at street level and the sky-bridge used to hook up to the 2nd floor.

I think i got this right.
