The craps table at Siena is my favorite in the world, wish I could get there more often.

According to this webpage, which claims to have been updated in April, the Siena has raised its craps minimum to $5. Is that true?

Not true. As of this afternoon the table had posted limits of $2 to $500, 10X odds. Like every place else the limits probably fluctuate with supply and demand. Limits will probably increase when the Street Vibe crowd starts arriving.

BTW, I noticed the web site you checked included the Sundowner and the Golden Phoenix, both of which had been closed for months as of last April, when the site claims to have been updated. Methinks that's a tip-off.

Thanks for the update, I love that table, even more so than the quarter games of the Nevada Club of my youth.

I was there over Labor Day weekend, and the limit was only $2, with the 10X odds.

Also, they have $2 and $5 blackjack tables, single deck, double on any 2 cards, 3:2 on blackjack, and you can spread to three hands for the $5.00 minimum amount. When I was there last Saturday, they also had a drawing every 30 minutes for matchplays...I won twice (only one other person at the tables) and won a total of $70 in matchplays. On video poker I kept getting $2.00 bonuses for getting four-of-a-kinds on penny VP...$10.00 total. And, when I signed up for a new players card, they gave me $10.00 in free slot play when I showed them my Harrah's room charge card.

Needless to say, I had a hell of a time there! Puts Harrah's to shame.

Hey Hifi were they very busy there? Trying to figure out which way the Siena is going to go and I am hoping it will stay. I love that Sunday Buffet, it is amazing! Not to mention their table games are in my opinion the best.

Sounds as if the Siena is making the right move, and that is to get a better game for the player. 10X Craps, single deck full pay blackjack is a good start. Now some good full pay poker machines, and single zero roulette with limits that are up there a bit and it just might attract more people into the place than the others might get. I am a high limit roulette player and Reno has gotten rid of all their single zero games, the the Top Deck of the Cal Neva being the last to go.

Reno needs to understand that they can be a winner if they let the player have a fair shake at the winnings too. If they keep their games, people will come over the pass from California to take advantage of them, I am sure.

Dave, according to a dealer I talked to, they are hanging in there for the long run. They weren't that busy on a Saturday afternoon, but that didn't surprise me, since there weren't other casinos directly across from it to draw from.
