RGJ this morning had a round up of some of the cheap drink deals around town. Most are in free standing bars and might not be of much interest to out of town visitors, but a few are in the casinos. One they missed is Aura Lounge in the Silver Legacy, which offers free drinks for women (isn't that discrimination?) weekdays from 4 to 7 p.m. Here's the article:

Drink up! More cheap opportunites for Reno with the "highest rate of heavy drinkers in the nation"
On the other end of cheap drinks, many times I have had "FREE" beers at the video poker bartops........ but it ended up costing me a $100 for that Corona. I guess I need to drink faster, or play slower. |

I wonder if the women's discounts extend to the "Tran" crowd.
Or if, say, Dame Edna wants to hang out; what then?
Eh, I'll go elsewhere down that list for the cheapies. |
