I was at the Peppermill yesterday and one of the gals at the players' club desk told me they are revamping their comp system. According to her, in a couple of months we'll be able to use comps from the Peppermill and Western Village at either place. We'll also be able to check our comp balance at the kiosk.
This sounds like a load of crap to me, but time will tell. |

I read John's post and thought,"No freakin' way". But to have such a phenomenal and extraordinary piece of news confirmed by the castle's owner.Well, it's gotta be true! |

The good news is they are "revamping" the club card?
The bad news is Purple, bronze and gold cards are no more.
Points accrued on purple, bronze or gold cards have been purged.
(But it doesn't really matter since you never knew how many points youu had..... Ho,Ho, Ho !)
Card levels will now begin at Diamond graduating the top 5% to:
Platinum at level two. Then the top 5 % Platinum players go to:
Molydenum islevel three and get one free night/year. 5% go to:
Osmium who get a reserved parking spot and two free nights/year
5% of Osmium players will be upgraded to:
Thulium who get three free nights/yr and 20% off the buffet
The top 5% of Thulium players move to our PREMIUM level:
Iridium level that get above PLUS one steak dinner/year and five free nights/yr.
Note: "Free nights do not include a $ 35/night "Resort fee" which must be paid to receive "Free night"
Oh ya, it takes $ 5,000 of coin in to get ONE point. And it takes 1,000 points to get a free book of matches! |

JD, you make the new card sound so generous that it's almost back in the unbelievable bin. Apparently I'm to receive a depleted uranium card. Is that good? |

Day before yesterday, that Your "Anium level" card gave you a choice of
three cocktail waitresses of your choice for three days (all at once or one at a time), OR three months free stay in any Presidential suite.
Unfortunately, the "revamping" has a short term result of now being worth a free umbrella in any sissy drink at the cube bar OR free ice at any ice machine (Subject to a nominal "ice machine resort fee" of $ 10) .
No doubt you'll soon be reclassified at the Beryllium level after only 157 hours in the high limit Keno parlor.
For the record... Most casinos VAMP their cards every two years or so. The majority of VAMPING is done in secret so as to keep the player in the dark and bamboozle them with the secret details. I'm told there is a company in Nevada called, "Vamp your cards dot com" but most people just call it "revamp" |

Anyone been in to the Pep lately?? Apparently this is now live! You can view your available comps at the Kiosk.
I did find out that room comps no longer come out of your available comp balance and you can self comp at restraunts now. Yeah!!! |

Hey Alison, I was at the Peppermill yesterday on a tax-deductible business lunch and tried the kiosk out. You can use your Peppermill or Western Village card to check your comps and comp history. I didn't have time to look into the self comp thang, but will find out more on my next trip. |

I swiped my card yesterday at the Pepp. and did not see anything about how much in the way of comps I had. They had an item that said print out restaurant coupons and when I went to that item...it was blank. I did find out that they still have me as Gold, so the card system has not changed.
I guess John and I were swiping our cards yesterday. sorry to miss you. I did not see anything about comps history, but it is quite possible I did not go to the correct area. |

Sorry I missed you, Swede. The "comps kiosk" is located by the ATM's by the buffet. It isn't very big, so you have to look around. The restaurant coupons are for dining points that are accumulated by swiping your card. You can get points good for food, spa, gift shop and the clothing store by hotel registration.
I think I saw you there yesterday. Were you the incredibly handsome guy that was surrounded by super models? |

I had no idea about that comp kiosk...in fact I cashed in a TITO ticket at that spot earlier today. So much for my power of observation. I swiped my card at the bank near the information center. I got my Mr. Money tickets and a match play coupon (more on that later). I will try to put a trip report together.
So you saw me?---" the incredibly handsome guy" That is me, but no models. |

So the comp kiosk is not even tied in to the area where you swipe your cards for the other promotions? Thats odd. Well im still looking forward to trying it out. I am really happy that room comps no longer come out of your comp balance. FINALLY!! Thats how most places do it. Glad to hear the Peppermill is finally getting it. I wish i could go back now! |
