According to the RGJ a new owner (Muerelo Group from CA) plans to buy the GSR and take over in about a month. Plans include room upgrades, improvements in the casino,etc., but no big change in day to day operations. Sound familiar? I didn't see anything about the world's largest water park, but maybe that's in phase two. Anway, I wish them well. The last few times I was out there they really seemed to be trying to offer better gaming rules, VP payouts etc. More:

The proposed parking garage would help. The times I have been there it is a long uphill hike to get from the parking lot to the casino.
