Oh, goodness no, nothing like that - while flipping the pronoun was amusing, it only meant that I would defend freedom of speech even if someone ELSE was getting beaten up for it.
I guess if I went to shooters more, I'd be better acquainted with how this kind of business gets done - I'll put it on my list.
Thanks for the suggestion; I think I'll name my next rock band "The Funkin' Wagnalls" |

OK, Jerry, I checked with the legal staff. After reading his posts, they, like everyone else on the planet, don't quite know what he said. To quote them:
"We may have a case here. We will issue a complete report with recommendations after checking that 'funky wagtail' thingy." |

Hey, Stan, how about a slight change in band name to the "Wunkin FAG-nells?
John, I am starting to worry about BC Dave. His posts are beginning to resemble Stan's in some ways. Thankfully, tho, Dave knows a "pile of offal" when he smellls it.
Dave: On the good side, "Man, Ah luvs dem avvietars. Dey's da gratust!" |

Dave, as always, you look great.
BUT, I don't remember you having that much hair. (look who's talking)
If we keep up this dialogue, my bride's birthday thread may reach three pages. At my age, I am always excited to see "growth". |

Well then, let me be the next person to add a gratuitious, space-wasting acknowledgement of your bride's happy day.
Happy birthday, Jerry's bride!!! |

Congrats, Stan,
you sound like one of us. Excellent post. Your most understandable ever.
Interestingly enough, today is my Mother's birthday. 92 years ago. Tho she passed away in 95. It is also Flag Day (if anyone remembers the significance).
Lots of interesting date tie-ins. Two days after my sister-s 50th wedding anniversary and most all of my family is enroute to the Buckeye State for a big celebration. We cannot attend due to my bride's current state of health. In fact, I can't even get to Reno.
Hopefully, though, our house should be in escrow about now. If that holds up, I will be freer for Reno trips in another month. |

Tongue Transplant???? How else can we explain Stan's Clear Message with no ten dollar words to confuse us.
Birthdays. Alas, I could not get onto site yesterday (the 20th) to inform all that it was my STATE's birthday. The wild and wonderful state of West Virginia was born on June 20, 1863. Check next message if it is not too long.....
And, Dave, I have to log on each day just to check out your delightful avatars. |
