In regard to Jerry's list of city names, I am for once speechless.
Guess I'd better pack my bags and move to "Wymps Gap".
All your Avatars are wonderful, but I'm never changing mine.
Go Reno! Wife and I almost took a trip up, but it fell through. You folks will have to imbibe the venerable hops-based brews on my behalf. |

My daughter is in DC on business and called tonight complaining about 7 inches of rain in 36 hours. I told her it sounded good to me. I drove from Crater Lake area to southern OR yesterday and the lowest temp was 103 degrees. Mostly at 106. All time record I think.
So, Barb, I too am HOT>>>>>>> |

Wow, I skated again. 2661 views of this thread and no one asked me how old my "old wife" was.
Anyway, I'll feel older soon. My birthday is in 12 days. Then I, too, WILL BE REALLY OLD.
Back off, John, you can let this comment slide too. After all, what better could you give me for my birthday than a little unexpected compassion? |

Compassion? You're in better shape than most of the members of this board. Hell, you're in better shaper than Higgins.
How about this - a free magic show for four to the first person to accurately guess Jerry's age. Hawk doesn't qualify due to insider information. |

Jerry now that everyone on this board knows you will be turning 73, how young is your lovely bride? Congrulations to all for taking this thread to 3 pages. _________________ misterd |

I can say that she looks a lot younger than jerry. I think he was robbing the cradle.

Jerry, If you are going to be 73 on July 12, I will be on July 13.
We are going to Chinook Winds Casino for 2 nights for my birthday.
Hope you have a great birthday and that your "bride" will be feeling much better. Barb p.s. good luck on the sale of your house |

You know I really appreciate the plans you made for us, but I really don't think we should celebrate our birthdays together this year. Maybe next year though. time will tell.
Thanks, MisterD for helping us to three pages on this thread. Kinda interesting what starts a long discussion. Maybe we'll get it to 4 pages yet.
And, Kevin, yes I did rob the cradle. My bride was 9 years old when I met her at a family reunion in the hills of West Virginia. We ran away and got married that weekend.
Sorry, MisterD but you lose. Most people think I look younger than my age but you missed on the high side. No magic show for you.
Still, I do enjoy your posts. Keep 'em comin'. |

Kevin, you have no room to talk about "cradle-robbing". I have met your lovely YOUNG WIFE. I have grandchildren older than her. How she selected you I will never know. |
