Barb, I sincerely appreciate the birthday wishes. I hope you have a great one at Chinook Winds.

I will likely be home packing on my birthday. So, I likewise thank you for the good wishes on my home sale. Right now it looks good but, once again, TIME WILL TELL.

Alright, Big John, you have been taking "nice pills" and it looks good on you. Thank you for the comments.

And, EVERYONE, please have a happy, safe, sane, and absolutely wonderful Fourth of July holiday. There are a lot of very nice people on this board. It is a lot of fun and, so far, no one seems to have been rubbed wrong with the "ribbings".

I concur with everything he said. This board is a dream to moderate.
On our nation's birthday, I want to thank all the members of this board and wish you a fantastic Fourth and many more of them.

We probably wouldn't have been able to use the magic tickets anyway and if I would have won was thinking of having John give them away in another contest. I agree this is a fun board to participate in.
Jerry I am a little confused cause I must admit I didn't just guess your age but visited one of your old post to figure it out.

"Well, I wasn't actually trying to fool you.
I checked the schedule today and it is now called the 2006 Rock-n-Reno Challenge Cup. Perhaps, had I known that it would not have been so deceptive.

I now have 9 games in 5 days, and 11 in 7 days plus possible championship game. Counting last tourney, it's 18 games in 13 days --- and I am 72 years old. And, believe me, we play just as hard as the major leaguers and the teenagers.

God has blessed me."

That is where I got your age for my guess. Anyway best of luck to all and wishing everyone a happy fourth. We will be at Club Cal Neva for a couple days and think we might take a trip out to Sand Mountain the fifth we have never seen it.

misterd.
MY BAD. It seems that I misled you. That was very perceptive of you.
In softball tourneys, we go by the age we reach during that calendar year. So, even though my 72d birthday is in July, I have been 72 since Jan 1 in the softball books.

Jerry now that you gave your true age away no one is going to be able to win the Magic tickets. Maybe John could think up another contest. Anyway Jerry my hat is off to you to be able to play softball the way you do at your age. I am 54 and know I couldn't keep up with you. Let's keep going and see page 5!

MisterD: She is "younger" than I. Now, if you ask Kevin, he will likely say something like: "Yeah, she's decades younger than Jerry".
But I like to think that life with me is easy and keeps her looking younger.

Barb: That's neat that we are only one day apart. Thanks for sharing. That tells me that you have self-confidence and, for a 71 year old, probably look a whole lot younger. I respect your sharing.

BTW, were you born in the West? I was born back east - in the Appalachian Hills.

Ah, but Alison, just belly up to the bar with us and we'll see who's ancient.
Age is a state of mind.

As Groucho Marx once said, "You are only as old as the girl you feel".

Have a happy fourth.
