"I understand the "quirks" of the elderly"
Really, Larry, we resemble that remark.
Say, if your brother will admit to a July birthday, he could make this list. |

Ah, Stan, you silver-tongued devil you. You have not lost your touch.
Welcome back, we have missed your obfuscatory perambulations.
Help us get to page 10. This thread is already a new record. |

Close: It's Flag Day, June 14. (He's not much of a Nevada fan. My wife and I had our 25th anniversary and met a bunch of friends and family in Las Vegas in May. My brother drove in from Michigan for the event and, while in Las Vegas, had his car stolen. He got it back, but it was still a traumatic experience.)

Coincidence, Larry, June 14 (Flag Day) was also my mother's birthday.
I am sorry your brother went through the car theft.
He should have a car like mine. In Tahoe, a year ago, a thief broke into my car, stole the valuables, and LEFT THE CAR -- even though there was a key in it in full view where he rifled through everything. Took a bunch of shopping discount cards even, but neither the key nor the car. |

Well, after all that talk (and this lengthy post) about my "old" wife's birthday, I now have one. TODAY... So, now I have gained another year on her.
John, do you think I will get "tied up" today? |

Only if you're very lucky. Sorry I missed you yesterday, but happy birthday. By now, you should be used to having them.

As one of your "elders", John, I can safely confess to you: You can never have TOO MANY BIRTHDAYS...
After getting "tied up" a few minutes ago, I am ready for 72 more. Bring 'em on. |

I'm sure glad there's a six page limit on these threads. |

Yes, I too support the six-page limit - it's necessary for numerous reasons, which I'll discuss in great detail:
1. Reverse upload FTP protocols are currently non-configurable, and therefore don't conform to necessary bandwidth requirements.
2. The six-page limit ensures that 1024 remains the base number for determining memory allocation.
3. Web page designers favor the current DNS hierarchy employed by name servers worldwide.
4. HTML encoding capabilities employed by Win2k-platform hosting is not inconsistent with the most-commonly used web page functionality.
5. PNP-driven message board technology allows administrators and moderators to incorporate their own multi-threaded, command-line logic interface.
6. Megahertz ratings are a solid indication of CPU layering, and their algorithms tend to be better-incorporated to existing front-load code.
7. The upper portion of Windows reserved memory can be temporarily loaded into processor cache, thereby improving performance.
8. Multi-user networks use secure ethernet token ring LANs for efficient redeployment across their own interface grids.
Oops, sorry! |

But, wouldn't that be affected by the disk allocation format?

After re-calculating the "Golden Triangle", I have concluded that this thread is good for eight pages and 8,000 viewers.
But wouldn't it be neat if we could hit 10,000 viewers, thus blasting the Golden Triangle theory out of this Newtonian Universe??? |
