The Best of Reno: It is here and I am here. Wow...

My personal best is to be treated like a VIP. Smaller casinos can give you that extra level of "special" treatment. It feels good to me.

e.g., last night, people had been lined up for 30 minutes or so waiting to enter the special New Years Eve banquet in the Banquet Room.
Mrs. Hawk and I strolled up a few minutes before the scheduled opening, and were simply looking around. Doors were closed.
A marketing employee strolled up, greeted us by name, and asked if we would like to be seated. Yippee, guess what our answer was?
She opened the doors, and led us to prime seats at the front table. Awesome. Then the riff-raff were allowed in. Twisted Evil Just kidding of course. But it makes one wonder what the "really high rollers" felt about our special treatment.

This happened to me previously at the Super Bowl Party. I don't know what is going on but I like being mistaken for a celebrity/high roller, or whatever.

Everyone that I talked to had received a different offer for the weekend. It is hard to believe how they managed to do that. When Mrs. Hawk received her (larger than expected) free play, the person crediting the account seemed very quizzical. Is she riding on the Hawk's tail feathers?
Whatever, It worked for us.

In summary, a fun New Years Party at the Siena. The staff were dressed "to the nines".

A leisurely champagne brunch, seated by the window at Lexies on the River, topped off the weekend. It is appreciated and much enjoyed.

Hey Hawk can't say I blame sounds like that is hard to beat. Were they very busy there? It seems like that is the one worry I have about the Siena. Every time I have been there it has been great and I love their table games not to mention Lexies is first cabin. I just wonder if they are doing ok business wise. Then you get those darn free loader big wigs coming in .................. Wink
Joking of course. I have never stayed there before but I am still working on taking my wife down there for a relaxing weekend. Well relaxing for her and non stop gambling for me of course.
Glad to hear you had a Great New Years Hawk!
