Since I'll be coming in via route 80 from California, I'm guessing that weather reports for Truckee will have the best perspective for judging the road conditions for next Wednesday, which is when I shall be making my merry way over.

So which service has the most reliable, in anyone's opinion? Or are they pretty much all the same?

Also, what the heck event is pushing up hotel room prices for Wednesday, but not Thursday?? Must be something happening in town..."Cool November Nights", perhaps?
