This is the first time I have posted here, but I have been reading the posts forever. When ever we go to Reno, we almost always gamble at the Eldorado or Fitz. What are some other casinos that seem to pay fairly well for $1 and nickle slots.
Thanks

Each tme we go to Reno, we like to spend a few hours at Rail City Casino. It's a 5 mnute drive from the Fitz. It's a locals casino that seem to treat us good. Lots of nickel and penny slots, great food deals, and we seam to get lots of play for our $'s.

If you go there from downtown, don't take the freeway. It's a waste of time in my opinion. Just head east on Fourth Street and you'll come into Sparks right by Rail City. |

That is really an impossible question to answer. One person may have great luck at a casino or certain machine, and the next person will report just the oposite. Read some of the comments about the 10X play at the Peppermill as an example. The casinos are not required to report their "hold" on machines, so it is somwhat of a mystery.
It sounds like you would like to expierence some different casinos. ?? I might recommond you head south and try out the Peppermill and Atlantis. Both places are very nice and different than the downtown atmosphere. Both places are noted for their better paytables on video poker, so perhaps the slots might pay better. ?? |

I would agree with the above, in that Slot Play seems to be in the eye of beholder. We have had better luck in some of the larger Casinos like the Peppermill and Eldorado.
Now if you are talking about table play, then we would recommend the Siena for 10 Times odds on Craps, and single deck BJ. Cal-Neva for 9/6 VP and Craps. The Western Village in Sparks for low limit single deck BJ and $1 Craps. Friendly people run this joint on days. Has some pretty decent food for reasonable prices. Try their Steak House and you likely will be pleasantly surprised. |

Welcome to the board. if you have been reading the boards, you know what i am going to recomend. The Peppermill!!!!! They have a large variety of games. As far as who's slots pay well, it really is hit and miss. It really depends on luck of the draw. |
