Make incense from the plants of Lake Tahoe. In this small, hands-on workshop, you'll work with natural Tahoe pine resin, aromatic herbs, flowers and botanicals to create your own incense completely from scratch. You'll grind, blend, knead and hand-roll your incense while learning about the Sierra Nevada plants, traditional incense-making techniques, and how I harvest, prepare and distill botanicals for my small-batch apothecary. This isn't incense made with synthetic fragrance oils, charcoal or artificial fillers. We work with real plants, natural resins and botanical ingredients. You'll leave with your own handcrafted Tahoe incense, the knowledge to make it again at home, and a souvenir from Tahoe that you actually made yourself.
