Wingfield Park

An island in the Truckee River in the middle of downtown, with an amphitheatre and the whitewater park beside it.

• Donated to the city by George Wingfield in 1920.
• The adjacent whitewater park is free and open to anyone; on a hot afternoon half of Reno is in it.
